Why wasn't a release processed for a submitted form?

• Form may have been submitted without all of the required information or signatures.

• There may not have been sufficient information submitted with the form to develop a meaningful release.

• There may be no media in the selected community or area that desires the story.

Why isn't the release published in the spouse's community?

The FHTNC does NOT send material to a spouse's community when the servicemember is deployed, unless the spouse resides in the same community as the servicemember's parents or the spouse's parents.  This policy is for the protection of the spouse, to avoid advertising that the spouse is at home alone.

 

How long is a signed FHTN form valid?

Note, always keep a copy of every FHTN release that you send in. The signed release is good for ONE CALENDAR year, in case the person gets another promotion or award.
